Our 16s and 17s are still intersted in 2 middle blockers. Please email southwestvbc@gmail.com to request an evaluation. Thanks!
Girls high school tryouts will begin Saturday, November 11th. Athletes who would like to play for Southwest should make all efforts to be at the 1st tryout, but there is a 2nd tryout on Sunday for those who have conflicts or would like to attend a 2nd tryout. All athletes are encouraged to attend both, if possible.
Please arrive 30 minutes before the tryout starts to check in, receive a tryout T-shirt, and warm up. Pre-registration is $40 online; walk-ins are $50 at the door.
Please note the location of your tryout. Some tryouts will be at Nathan Hale High School in West Allis (11601 W Lincoln Ave). Parking at Southwest is available in the back of the building and also across the street on Hoover Ave. Parents may help their athlete register, but we ask that no parents remain at the tryout. If your athlete receives an offer, you may join them to meet with the coach after the tryout, so keep your phone handy.

2) Medical form
3) Tryout evaluation form (fill out top portion)
IF you did not pre-register online, you will also need these items:

The process of purchasing memberships changed in 2021. Most of your questions should be answered by starting at this page on Badger Region's website.
After Sept. 1, you may purchase a membership beginning here. This is an informational page to help you choose the right membership for your child.
In order to begin the purchase process, you will need to create a free SportsEngine account or login to your existing SportsEngine account (you may have one through other sports organizations that use SportsEngine). Click here for an overview of this process.
If a family has multiple players, they should have all their membership information in the same master account under a parent's email, using one set of login credentials (called a “family account”). This is different than past seasons. In the old system, all individuals had to have their own login.
You will want to choose a tryout membership ($10), or a season membership ($55). The tryout membership can be upgraded to a season membership once a player makes a team.
When you get to the checkout page, you will see two “transactions” that equal the total membership price. One transaction represents the fees going to the Badger Region, and the other represents the fees going to USA Volleyball. This is different than in the past. You’ll still be charged the same amount – you’re just going to see an itemized breakdown. You may also see two separate charges (totaling the amount of your membership) on a credit card statement.
All membership questions should be addressed to membership@badgervolleyball.org
Please see the image below to be sure you are registering for the right age group. Generally 6th graders play 12s, 7th graders play 13s, and so on.
