Girls 14 & under tryouts will begin Saturday, October 7th. Athletes who would like to play for Southwest should make all efforts to be at the 1st tryout, but there is a 2nd tryout on Sunday for those who have conflicts or would like to attend a 2nd tryout.
Please arrive 30 minutes before the tryout starts to check in, receive a tryout T-shirt, and warm up. Pre-registration is $40 online; walk-ins are $50 at the door
Please note the location of your tryout. All tryouts will be held at West Allis Central High School EXCEPT the Sunday tryout for the 13s. That will be back at our Southwest facility. Parking at Southwest is available in the back of the building, and across the street on Hoover Ave. Parents may help their child register, but we ask that no parents remain at the tryout with their children. If your child receives an offer, you will be asked to meet with the coach after the tryout, so please keep your phone handy or be nearby at the end of tryouts.

The process of purchasing memberships changed in 2021. Most of your questions should be answered by starting at this page on Badger Region's website.
After Sept. 1, you may purchase a membership beginning here. This is an informational page to help you choose the right membership for your child.
In order to begin the purchase process, you will need to create a free SportsEngine account or login to your existing SportsEngine account (you may have one through other sports organizations that use SportsEngine). Click here for an overview of this process.
If a family has multiple players, they should have all their membership information in the same master account under a parent's email, using one set of login credentials (called a “family account”). This is different than past seasons. In the old system, all individuals had to have their own login.
You will want to choose a tryout membership ($10), or a season membership ($55). The tryout membership can be upgraded to a season membership once a player makes a team.
When you get to the checkout page, you will see two “transactions” that equal the total membership price. One transaction represents the fees going to the Badger Region, and the other represents the fees going to USA Volleyball. This is different than in the past. You’ll still be charged the same amount – you’re just going to see an itemized breakdown. You may also see two separate charges (totaling the amount of your membership) on a credit card statement.
All membership questions should be addressed to membership@badgervolleyball.org
Please see the image below to be sure you are registering for the right age group. Generally 6th graders play 12s, 7th graders play 13s, and so on.
